Family Farming.....Are we mind readers?

Austin was given the task to drive where John and Montana where planting corn (50 miles) to pick up the truck which has a fuel tank in the box and hitched seed buggy. He was instructed to fuel the truck, get more seed corn and bring the impact drill with 15/16 socket back to the farm.  Well, Austin completed his tasks but John and Austin had different views on what fueling the truck meant. Austin fueled the pickup tank and not the diesel fuel tank in the box!  OMG. I remember when John and I were first farming and I helped with the field work. I was instructed when finished to take the tractor and disk home. Needless to say home meant where John and I lived and for John home meant where he grew up. Always remember details, details, details, it's way more efficient! That's one thing a farmer is not....a mind reader.
